Crime News: Aurangabad City Police (Aurangabad City Police) crime branch team has busted a gang that is plotting to grab insurance money. In which the main accused would first sell the truck and then report the theft of the truck to the police. However, when the police conducted further investigations, it became clear that the accused was the plaintiff who reported the theft. Therefore, the police detained three people in this case on Tuesday and handed them over to the Satara police. The names of the accused are Santosh Prabhakar Angarakh (38 years old, Res. High Court Colony, Satara area), Bahadur Singh Chauhan and Prateek Misal.

According to the information received from the police, Santosh Prabhakar Angarakh, who owns a transport business, had lodged a complaint about his truck being stolen at the Satara police station on February 14. In on 5th December in the evening, he parked his Ashok Leyland truck (No. MH 20 EL 4332) at Baba Garage in front of Bajaj Company Gate for repairs. Meanwhile, Angarakh had gone to Ahmednagar as his brother-in-law's health deteriorated. But when he returned from the city on December 10, he could not find the truck. Meanwhile, Santosh Angarakh lodged a complaint with the Satara police, suspecting that the garage driver Balu Mistry had also gone to the village during that time.

And the racket was exposed.
Meanwhile, as the entire truck was stolen and keeping in mind the seriousness of the crime, Crime Branch Inspector Avinash Aghav, and Assistant Inspector Manoj Shinde started investigating this crime. Meanwhile, the police checked the CCTV footage of the area where the truck was claimed to have been stolen. It does not show anywhere that the truck was stolen. So Shinde thoroughly interrogated the garage driver along with Angarakh. The garage driver was caught talking and the police became suspicious. Hence, the police started a technical investigation, in which the names of various suspects came up. It was there that the prosecution was tricked and their racket was exposed. So when the police detained him and interrogated him showing evidence, he confessed to the crime.

Plot for insurance amount...
In the interrogation of Crime Branch Assistant Inspector Manoj Shinde, Santosh Angarakh himself admitted that he had sold the truck to Vashim through identity card Sudam Misal and Kalyan Prakash (Rest. Rajeshnagar). After that, a theft complaint was filed here in the city. As the case was registered, he immediately filed a claim with the insurance company for the insurance amount. His plan was to sell the truck and collect the insurance amount along with lakhs of rupees. However, his forgery was exposed by the crime branch even before that. A case has been registered in this matter in Satara thana.
