Mumbai: The headache of the Mumbai Police has increased a lot due to the Informers. Many times the information of the informer works, but also the same time informer is also defaming the police department and other individuals. According to the information received from the sources, the police solve such blind cases in which many times there is no clue. In many cases, informers play an important role. These police informers often start misusing the names of police officers. In the name of the top officers of the police department, these newsmen roam around in debauchery and expensive mobiles, expensive cars, etc.

Recently one case also came into the limelight where one informer name Hemant Jain(informer, Blackmailer & Extortionist ). has been providing false and misleading information to the Police department. This Blackmailer has been causing unnecessary harm and distress to innocent individuals by falsely accusing them of criminal activities.

On Dated 22/03/2023 around 22:20hrs Hemant Jain visited Hotel Aruna(My Queen) owned by Mr Jagdish Shetty and meet with the manager Pappu & and ask for the owner than he meet Mr Jagdish Shetty. Hemant said that he is having good terms with IPS Officer & also with the Social Service branch and showed the picture of ACP Chandrakant Jhadav Sir & also said that he wants a monthly 5,000/- as a bribe if the owner wants to run his business smoothly otherwise he will conduct a bogus raid on his establishment. The hotel owner also said to our reporter that on 13/03/2023 he also came and asked for money and on 14/03/2023 he had paid hemant jain 1000/- through GPay but after paying the amount his demands increased then the owner totally refused to pay the rest of the amount.

Then Hemant Jain shared the wrong information through tweeter handle to Mumbai police by the owner got totally shocked after giving the money also such kind of informer giving harm to hoteliers. and the very next day Mr Jagdish Shetty gave the complaint copy to the Mumbai commissioner so that such kind of informers should be punished under various IPC acts.
